On 24th November, the Fitness industry woke up to the sad news of Eric passing away. As the news was confirmed on the social media platform and details shared, friends and colleagues from the fraternity dropped their reactions. Fans were shocked and shattered, and the comments section flooded with heartwarming messages.

Shocked by the news, Jay Cutler wrote, “such terrible news. He brought so much positivity to everyone.” Seven times Mr. Olympia Champion Phil Heath also took to the comment section to express his heart. Remembering his dear friend, the bodybuilding champion, said, “I don’t want to believe this at all. I’m gonna miss our talks, Eric.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s son Patrick Schwarzenegger also extended his prayers as he wrote, “So sad. Rip Eric. Will miss you 🙌❤️.” Working in the industry for more than 30 years now. He has helped many to transform their bodies and minds. The news of his demise was confirmed by his wife, Alysia. Though the reason behind his death remains undisclosed, fans and friends are visibly heartbroken and shocked.

As he began his second year in college, he started to work out. Following training at Gold’s Gym, he soon realized the potential of the fitness industry. He eventually moved to New York and began to work as a personal trainer. With time, his popularity grew, and he earned himself the title of ‘Eric The Trainer.’ Eric left may have left for his heavenly abode, but as James Maslow remarks, his “positivity, light and kindness will never be forgotten but will be sorely and deeply missed.”
