Minot High’s Maliah Burke pushes the action up the pitch on Friday against Mandan. The Majettes opened their season on Friday with a 5-1 win over Mandan. On Saturday, the Majettes defeated Fargo Shanley, 3-1. With the win, the Majettes have won their last 18 matches. Minot’s last loss came to Shanley in 2019 state title.

The Minot High boy’s baseball team played a doubleheader on Friday against Bismarck Century. The Magicians won game one, 10-9. Game two was suspended after five innings and will be completed at a later date, Minot was winning 11-8 when the game was suspended.

Track and Field

The Minot High Track and Field girls and boys teams participated in the Minot Early Bird outdoor meet on Saturday. The Majettes placed first, scoring 156.5 points. The Demons from Bismarck finished second with 148.5 points. The Minot boys team finished in third with 153 points. The Demons finished first with 192.5 points.
