Comedian Mo Gilligan’s meteoric rise has continued. The Londoner is now set to host this year’s version of the Brit Awards, an honour previously bestowed upon the likes of Jack Whitehall, James Corden, Peter Kay and Chris Evans.

Like many a modern star, Gilligan began his career by uploading clips to social media. However, he has since gone on to host arena shows and has even won a BAFTA for his performance in The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.

He beat fellow funny-men Frankie Boyle, Lee Mack and Graham Norton to win the prize for best entertainment performance.

Things are certainly going well for the 33-year-old, but who is he and how has all that success affected his net worth?
