Oh my gosh, I’m so excited. Rumor has it a future Hallmark Christmas movie is going to be filmed in Ocean City, New Jersey.
It’s the perfect setting for romance with its small town charm.
You may have heard me talk about Ocean City on the air…it’s one of my favorite places in the world. My family vacations there every summer and we’re hoping to be homeowners one day. In the meantime, we go as often as we can. We’ll be visiting soon to do some Christmas shopping, grab our favorite donuts at Brown’s for Christmas morning breakfast, and take in some vitamin sea.
I’m in quite a few of the Ocean City Facebook groups, which keep me informed as to what’s going on in town. I love them. They keep me connected to the town I love so much while I’m not there. One recent post certainly caught my attention.
A fellow member of the group said he had talked to an old friend, Craig Pryce, who told him that Hallmark would be filming a new movie in town next season. I Googled Craig Pryce, and it turns out he’s a writer, director, and executive director for tv and movies.
This is getting interesting. There may be truth to this rumor. As I read the post thread, it seemed the annual Ocean City Christmas Parade, an adorable, Hallmark movie-like event sealed the deal. Asbury Avenue is also beautifully decorated for the holidays…the perfect setting for falling in love, Hallmark style.
As soon as I find out more details, I’ll pass them along. If this does happen, I’ll be spending even more time in Ocean City…doing a little spying. Lol.
