They are our parents and grandparents and maybe in some cases our “great” grandparents. Our seniors here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties are a treasured part of our community and at times they need our help. Especially now as we come out of a two-year pandemic.
Our seniors who are still living at home on their own at times need a helping hand while maintaining their independence. This is where the organization Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey comes in. This group of volunteers assists the elderly with all kinds of chores etc.
As part of their fundraising for the year, CVCJ will once again host their fun event “Dancing with Their Stars” 2022. A fun night that will take place at the beautiful Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale on Wednesday, May 25th from 6 – 10 pm.
I had a chance to talk with some of the volunteers from CVCJ about their upcoming dancing competition and fundraiser and you can help our seniors.
Be a part of this fun event and help our elderly in the process. Also if you would like to volunteer your time and talent and help this organization please reach out and contact Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey for more information.
For more information, tickets, or to donate Call 732 – 505 – 2273
Good luck to all the dancers in this years event, I’m sure you will do better than Sue and I did lol Thanks to all the sponsors and you for supporting this wonderful local organization.

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean
With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it’s hard to keep track. Just when you’ve grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
