The single became Beyoncé’s 20th top 10 hit as a solo artist; she also has 10 from her time in the group Destiny’s Child.
McCartney has 23 solo top 10 hits and 34 with the Beatles and Jackson has 30 top 10s as a soloist and 11 as a member of the Jackson 5s and the Jacksons.
“Break My Soul” is Beyoncé’s first solo top 10 hit since 2016’s “Formation” and her first overall since 2020’s “Savage” remix with Megan Thee Stallion.

Billboard Hot 100 Top 10
Beyoncé, who has an Restimated net worth of $450 million, announced last month the upcoming release of her seventh solo studio album, and her first since 2016’s Lemonade. “Break My Soul,” a dance tune, was released by surprise in June. It was quickly embraced as an anthem for the Great Resignation, with lyrics like “release your job” and “I just quit my job.” Styles’ “As It Was” was the first single from Harry’s House, and in the day after it was released it became the most-streamed song in a day for a male artist, getting over 16 million streams. Lizzo’s “It’s About Damn Time” took a slow crawl to the Top 10, and much of its success was fueled by TikTok, where it went viral for a viral dance to the song.
