Race 1. (11:50) Ive > Print Hcp 1000m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

3 Winning Revolution (Bet Now: $4.40 TOP ODDS) is a beauty for Peter Moody. This juvenile has had two career outings. Pushed Aitch Two Oh all the way on debut in the Without Fear at Morphettville before going to Sale where he was there to be run down but found under Nolen and fended off Eros to win well, just. He’s a fighter and has the hard race experience/fitness under the belt.

Danger

4 Eros (Bet Now: $2.60 TOP ODDS) ran a narrow second to Winning Revolution in that Sale race. He was first up and had the cold sit on the eventual winner. Looked the winner himself when presented but just couldn’t quite finish the job. Better for the run, he has the form to give this a shake.

Long Shot

2 Penultimate One (Bet Now: $21.00 TOP ODDS) is on the seven day back up for Rod Symons after winning last Saturday at Bendigo. He was unwanted in betting but he seemingly got through the mud best late, driving hard late to win. How strong was the race? Not sure, but he has the hard run under the belt and bit of juice in the track will be no issue.

Race 2. (12:25) Ladbroke It Hcp 1000m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

3 Ashford Street (Bet Now: $3.70 TOP ODDS) is an absolute beauty for Ken Elford. Got the A1 run in transit at Caulfield last time and he duly saluted, bolting up under Teo Nugent. Run prior behind Easy Single was very good at Flemington, so hard to knock the way he is racing at the moment.

Danger

5 Starry Legend (Bet Now: $4.80 TOP ODDS), I think, could be a flat track bully, and his chances will be known soon after jumping. He either needs to lead or get control outside the leader. He had to chase a very fast Young Liam two weeks ago at Caulfield and got the better of him, but couldn’t hold out Ashford Street. I think he can bounce back.

Long Shot

8 Whipcracker Way (Bet Now: $7.50 TOP ODDS) is knocking on the door. He was somewhat luckless two back here behind Starry Legend before going to Caulfield when beaten narrowly by an in form Jigsaw. Good record when he gets his toe in and down in the weights, he’s a key threat.

Race 3. (13:00) Ladbrokes Switch (Bm70) 1600m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

1 Rusutsu (Bet Now: $8.50 TOP ODDS) looks really well placed in a race like this. Former UK mare that made her Australian debut for Team Freedman over 1400m on the Lakeside track here and she was a real eye catcher from near last in the run behind Mitilda. Reckon she might want one more, but fitter and up to the mile looks a set up for her to take beating.

Danger

2 Miltida (Bet Now: $5.50 TOP ODDS) is a consistent mare for Matt Cumani that got a well deserved city win next to her name on the Lakeside track here last start, helped by a lovely steer from Willow, who got her into a dream spot behind the speed and finished best. 1600m is a query, but she’s very genuine.

Long Shot

7 Vittoriosa (Bet Now: $4.60 TOP ODDS) is knocking on the door for WaterBott. Ran on the Lakeside track here last time out and tried her guts out in the straight, trying to come back and beat Princess Rhaenys, but that mare just had a bit too much class and was too good, just. That form is strong for a race like this. Just doesn’t want the track too wet.

Race 4. (13:35) Thoroughbred Club Hcp 1600m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

3 Star Of Chaos (Bet Now: $3.90 TOP ODDS) looks the pony to beat based on her absolute spank job win on the Lakeside track here last Wednesday where she lapped up the bog surface and gave them a spanking. Clearly has a liking for wet ground so with that in mind, I have to be in her corner.

Danger

10 Naval Seal (Bet Now: $5.50 TOP ODDS) looks an above average colt for Chris Waller. He spanked them to break the maiden two back at Ballarat before going to Caulfield where he surged hard late from off the speed, just missing out on picking up Hopon Harry in a blanket finish. Hard to beat I’d suggest.

Long Shot

4 Oriental Legend (Bet Now: $12.00 TOP ODDS) is sneaky flying. Lovely ride from Nolen saw him win two back at Pakenham before going to Caulfeild where he didn’t quite get the rub of the green when it mattered and should have finished closer behind Hopon Harry. Dangerous if he gets clear air.

Race 5. (14:10) Tile Importer (Bm78) 1300m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

8 Arranmore (Bet Now: $41.00) doesn’t have the best of winning strike rates but that doesn’t reflect her true ability. Ran over 1400m at Flemington three weeks ago…well, it was essentially a barrier trial. She had no luck in the straight and went to the line under a hold. If she gets clear air this time around, she can win for sure.

Danger

2 Kir Royale (Bet Now: $4.40) has found winning form and can certainly hold it. Bit on the plain side first up at Eagle Farm behind Minsk Moment before going to 1400m at Flemington where she was given a peach steer by Prebble to bolt up three weeks ago, and she was dominant. Hard to beat if she can hold that.

Long Shot

6 Rioyuki (Bet Now: $14.00) is a Beetroot Williams trained filly that resumes. She did a pretty good job during the Spring/Summer, which ended with a far from disgraced effort in The Vanity behind Barb Raider, who is the best 3YO filly in Victoria. Couple of jumpouts to get ready, I think she’ll run well fresh.

Race 6. (14:45) Ladbrokes Mates Mode (Bm78) 2400m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

1 Monbaher (Bet Now: $5.00) looks a progressive import for Matt Cumani. Two Australian runs have been strong, winning in dominant fashion at his Australian debut at Ballarat. He then went to 2100m on the Lakeside track here and closed off well, but was no match for the finale of Reuber. He’ll eat up 2400m and wetter the better.

Danger

3 Gate Crash (Bet Now: $3.20) is putting together a good little record. Strong winner on the Lakeside track here last Wednesday, defying a betting drift and giving nothing else a look in late in a dominant display. He’s got more to come and confident he can measure up here.

Long Shot

7 Accountability (Bet Now: $20.00) is three weeks between runs for Chris Waller since racing over 2500m at Flemington where he was near a very genuine tempo and actually didn’t do a bad job to stick on like he did in defeat behind Pesto, who ran well last Saturday. Reckon with a more gentle speed, he can run an improved race.

Race 7. (15:20) Ladbrokes Mega Multi (Bm78) 1600m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

4 Falls (Bet Now: $20.00) loves wet ground, loves this track, looks ready to peak…happy to back him each way. He ran two weeks ago at Caulfield and I thought warmed to the task nicely late behind D’Aguilar. He is a swimmer and Olly clicks with him, so I’ll back him each way.

Danger

1 Chief Altony (Bet Now: $8.00) is another that swims so he gets conditions to suit. Lapped up the mud when winning last Wednesday on the Lakeside course here, powering over the ground to win with real authority. Proven Saturday metro performer, he’ll take beating here.

Long Shot

13 Good And Proper (Bet Now: $20.00) should be suited up in trip for Matt Ellerton. Talented mare that resumed two weeks ago over 1400m at Caulfield and while she was never a winning threat, her finale was more than sound behind D’Aguilar, a promising animal, so the form reads well.

Race 8. (16:00) Ladbrokes Same Race Multi-Bm84 1300m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

11 Sig Positano (Bet Now: $4.40) is crying out for further and a bigger track and voila he gets that set up here. All three runs this time in have come over 1200m, the latest being two weeks ago at Caulfield when a mile back in the run but finished off with purpose late in the piece behind Jigsaw. Eats up an extra 100m here and is hard to beat.

Danger

5 Beehunter (Bet Now: $5.50) is flying for John Sadler. Market wanted him with confidence when racing a few weeks back at Flemington over 1400m and he was very good from the back when close up in defeat behind Triple Missile. If he can be within range with a drag into the race, he’ll be hard to hold out.

Long Shot

3 Crestani (Bet Now: $17.00) has to be respected here. Well and truly thrown in the deep end in the Straight Six three weeks back and nearly caused a massive boilover, looking the winner but was nabbed late by Ocean Beyond. Has a liking for Sandown and the extra 100m should be fine.

Race 9. (16:34) Ladbrokes Punter Assist Hcp 1800m

* Above offers may only be available to select customers.

Back Me

Lawrence Taylor - CBD Oil & Pain Relief Cream Bundle - 45% OFF

10 Royal Mile (Bet Now: $12.00) looks ready to rock and roll. Three weeks between runs since contesting the RA Lee on the course proper here where he stuck on and was far from disgraced in defeat behind Belle Plaisir. Not sure he’s quite up to Stakes grade, so this looks really good placement.

Danger

6 Mankayan (Bet Now: $5.00) is one of these Maher/Eustace gallopers that could be the 2022 version of Persan/Grand Promenade, that goes through their grades, keeps winning and ends up in a Melbourne Cup. Unlucky not to get to a Melbourne Cup last year but his first up win at Caulfield was impressive and he looks as if he’ll keep improving and potentially keep winning. Really good horse.

Long Shot

12 Wairere Falls (Bet Now: $SP.00) is yet to prove himself at 1800m, but he’s racing as if it will suit. He ran three weeks back in the Le Don De Vie race at Flemington where he was back near last in the run and was good late. If he can settle closer in the run, he’s certainly good enough to be in the finish.
